Little man is now obsessed with bugs.
Everytime we go out back, he walks down to the landing and searches out that special bug who will be THE bug to crawl on his finger. And then he loves that bug to pieces...literally (refer to previous post). When he finds a good bug place, he runs back and tells us: "I got lots bunches bugs. You want some?"
No thanks, but thanks for asking.

Yesterday, he had the bug of choice on his little finger and kept trying to get K to look at it (i.e. sticking it way to close to her face for her taste). She obviously got tired of this quickly. All of a sudden, little man gets this sneaky little gleam in his eye and starts pushing his buggy finger towards K's mouth saying: "Taste the bug. Okay. Taste the bug. It's yummy."
Oddly enough, K just wasn't interested.

This is the funniest!
Yesterday...out of the blue...little man jumps off the couch and yells:
"Okay! Let's rock and roll!"

I don't even know...

I just hope that he doesn't check to see how "yummy" a bug would be!

Out of 3 kids, the only one I have 'caught' eating a bug, was Savannah! She has always loved ANYTHING, and I do mean anything, that breathes. She even announced yesterday that she things oppossums and moles are cute. AND, somehow she got a trait from her Aunt Sarah, no 'blood' relation, and likes the smell of skunk. And like your little guy, she 'collected' bugs when younger, never mind that they all ended up as a heap of dead carcasses, whimper.

Chase will only look at bugs at a safe distance...at this distance he is totally enthralled with them, but when they come too close he bolts!
