We were off to the beach!

Jet skis were on today's list of things to do.
I have to brag on my son even though he spent most of Day 4 in a pouty snit. He was SO great on the ride to Point Clear! He slept like a dream. He was full of fun and ready for just about anything. Day 4 was about his limit. He still had some good moments, but he was tired. Understandably so. We've been busy. :)
.
Fortunately, some kid was showing off his jellyfish and totally distracted lil man from his moment of pout. UNfortunately, we discovered these allegedly "non-stinging" cabbage head jellyfish just might actually sting if squeezed hard enough. Lil man was already in a snit and getting his pinky stung did not make for a snit-free lil man. All turned out well though...Steve peed on it...JUST KIDDING...a lifeguard had a vinegar solution that she sprayed on it. :)

Lil man FINALLY got his turn. (Yep, Steve shaved his beard off. But no worries...it's already growing back. Yay.)

B graciously waited for a turn. (It helped that the child can make friends anywhere and was busy playing with two kids while the jetski-ing was happening.)
K insisted on eating at a "sit down" restaurant. It was rather swankified. And it just goes to show that ALL swanky joints will accommodate little people if that's where the business is. Ask for a kid's cup...you got it...crayons too, even if it appalls their sense of decorum. Ask for a straw...voila! ...one magically appears in your goblet. Think you'll need salt to "offend" the chef's prepared delicacies? A container of sea salt will be hurried over before the chef catches wind of the faux pas. I just thought the whole thing was funny, albeit a bit awkard.

Lil man was back in snit-mode so Steve took him outside until the food was ready. Lil man only made it through about 5 minutes after the food was on the table. FYI: full out snits are not welcome in swankified restaurants. Steve offered to take him back to the room so the girls and I could have a special mommy/daughter night. Hmmm...maybe beardless is better. :)

After dinner, the girls and I walked down to this amazing spot. It gave me a "Persuasion" moment. Waves crashing on the rocks...crumbling stairs...being careful not to slip into the arms of Captain Wentworth...okay, may not that, but it was very Jane Austen-esque. We walked down the stairs (which were part of the ORIGINAL foundation over 150 years ago) and look what we saw only three rocks over... He was big and beautiful. Like me! LOL LOL LOL
This girl's a NUT.
I was so busy with my lovely models that I totally spaced what time of day it was, until...K yells out: Mommy! It's your sunset! And sure enough...the clouds had graciously cleared enough for the most AMAZING colors to shine through.

Just GORGEOUS!
