Steve's bike was stolen!

Now for the rest of the story...

A neighbor stopped by in the a.m. to see if B could play.
B was busy.
B rode Steve's bike over a little while later when she was free.
No one was home.
B came back home and hung out until they returned.
B goes back to the neighbor's.
B is gone for a couple of hours.
B comes home very upset because when she came out of their house, the bike was missing.
Steve hops in the car to peruse the neighborhood for any tell-tale signs.
Steve stops by neighbor's house to double-check details with adults.
Neighbor friend and daughter of said adult overhears conversation and says:
"I don't think B rode a bike over here."

Yep, B forgot that she rode the bike over to their house the FIRST time...not the second. So there the bike was...safe and sound and un-stolen in our completely closed and locked garage.

What a silly little goober.

LOL LOL LOL LOL LOL

Wellllll, you DO live in an awfully 'scarey' neighborhood where things like this could happen... lets say.... NEVER!! That is so hilarious!

That is soooo funny. I can just see B's face as she thought the bike was stolen and then as it "reappeared!"
