Once there was a "noman"...

Yay! We finally saw snow!
Maybe it was only for about an hour and maybe it didn't necessarily "stick" and maybe there was no sledding, snowballs, or snowmen involved and maybe you can't even really see the big fat snowflakes in my pictures, but it was a beautiful afternoon.
The girls went out to "play" in the snow and basically refused to come in. Our entire circle was full of screaming and giggling kids. It was one of the best afternoons we've had in a long time. Aahhhh...to be a kid again.

If you look closely, you can see a "mustache" on B from where she practically threw her drink at me so she could get outside before the snow stopped. :)

K couldn't wait to get outside either, but that still didn't get her off the phone. (In her defense, she's talking to one of her best friends about the Hannah Montana Concert Movie we're going to in a few weeks. You can't just put those kinds of conversations on hold, you know.)

And little man just could not decide if he really wanted to let all that "tuff" fall on him, so he just watched from the front window.

However, once my brother came over, he grabbed little man (along with appropriate hat and coat, Mom) and took him outside to inspect that "tuff". Little man quickly discovered that the "tuff" was snow and soon began hounding us to build a "noman". He talked for hours about a "noman...tall...tall...tall".
(Thanks, nursery ladies for teaching him this song. (grrr)
I owe you.) ;)

Love the new layout! Snow does rock! Now if we could just get some...you would think we'd have tons, being in SOUTH DAKOTA, but not so much...

BTW, 'noman' is one of my favorite nursery songs and I LOVED having Sr. Primary sing it when I was Primary Chorister ( I think they secretly liked it too....;)). Now that I think about it, nursery and primary chorister are 2 of my favorite callings....

How about "The Babies on the bus go WAH WAH WAH, WAH WAH WAH all through the town...."? Now, there's a good nerve destroying verse...teeheehee =)
